UC Media Center Updates

Outstanding Books: Quick reminder as we approach the end of the year that all library books are now due! Please check in with students to see if they know where these items are and encourage them to return them. If your student has lost a book, feel free to have them come chat with Ms. Nevers. It can be replaced with a paperback copy of the same book or they can read to “pay” their fine. The homeroom in each grade with the lowest number outstanding will earn a prize!

Summer Reading Challenge: Did you know that we can lose up to a month of knowledge over the summer AND if you read 6 books you retain more than going to summer school? To prevent the summer slide Ms. Nevers is encouraging everyone to read! Be sure to encourage your students to complete their bingo card over the summer (and maybe join in on the fun!).
