Thank you everyone for a successful Read-A-Thon this year!LHCS students read a total of 572,778 minutes (or 9,546 hours or almost 400 days). As a community, we raised over $10,000 to support many of the literacy related grants funded by the PTA. Below are the individual grade level winners who won a bike and helmet donated by the Linden Hills Masonic Lodge:
- Kindergarten: Gia J. & Oliver C.
- 1st Grade: Willa S.
- 2nd Grade: AJ J.
- 3rd Grade: Madeline A.
- 4th Grade: Leo A.
- 5th Grade: Elizabeth N.
Grade-level classrooms that read the most minutes and earned a donut party:
- Kindergarten: Ms. Mattson
- 1st Grade: Ms. Glocker
- 2nd Grade: Ms. Clarke
- 3rd Grade: Ms. Veum
- 4th Grade: Ms. O'Hara
- 5th Grade: Mr. Badenhoff
